I am Marya Slater, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a background as a Professional Registered Nurse. I have dedicated my career to supporting adults and elders, specializing in crucial areas such as grief, chronic illness, and infertility. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New York University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, my educational experiences allow me to approach therapeutic issues with a broad and insightful perspective. Drawing from my ten years of experience maintaining a private practice in Manhattan, I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused approaches, to guide you toward both immediate and long-term fulfillment in your life.
