SNAP-Ed, located in Hillsborough, NJ, empowers individuals and families with the knowledge and skills necessary to make healthier food choices on a budget. Our program offers free, hands-on nutrition and health education classes that guide participants in adopting sustainable behavioral changes, such as increasing fruit, vegetable, and whole grain consumption, reducing sugary drink intake, and incorporating more physical activity into daily routines. We believe that everyone deserves access to nutritious food and the tools to lead a healthy lifestyle, regardless of their financial situation. Our classes are available to the public in Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset, Sussex, and Warren counties, helping attendees maintain a balanced diet at all life stages.
