Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors

Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors is a dedicated advocacy program located in Hillsborough, NJ, designed specifically for Latino parents with children aged 0 to 5. This evidence-based initiative empowers parents by providing them with the essential tools and knowledge to be their child’s first teacher. Through a series of 10 engaging workshops, families gain insights into critical topics such as nutrition, positive discipline, child development, and school readiness, all of which are pivotal for fostering long-term academic success. With sessions available in both English and Spanish, our program is accessible to the community, offering both virtual and in-person options. Parents who complete the program have the unique opportunity to become facilitators themselves, further extending the impact of our mission. Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors is committed to strengthening families in Middlesex County and Franklin Township, ensuring that every child has a bright and promising future.
