Leonard William Pikaard

Leonard William Pikaard is a compassionate drug and alcohol counselor, LCADC, and LSW who understands that life can often lead to unexpected twists and turns. Many individuals face hardships and struggles that are unplanned, resulting in suffering. Leonard believes that therapy, counseling, and life coaching can effectively address these challenges. By uncovering the root causes of emotional distress, clients can begin to manage the emotions linked to these experiences. His philosophy centers on the understanding that negative emotions can provoke compulsive actions in pursuit of instant gratification, which may result in unfavorable outcomes. To counter this, Leonard's group provides an array of services, including psychiatry, counseling, life coaching, and nutritional guidance. Having been on the path of recovery from mental health challenges, emotional distress, and substance abuse since 2010, Leonard has firsthand experience that enhances his empathetic approach. Additionally, he has cultivated a keen interest in parental coaching and child/adolescent behavior modification. Recognizing that each individual is unique, Leonard adjusts treatment plans to fit the specific needs of his clients. He employs a variety of modalities, including Education, Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Rational Emotive Therapy, Physical Integrated Therapy, and non-traditional holistic practices, all aimed at fostering mindfulness and personal growth.
