Mary Ng-tedj

Mary Ng-tedj is a Board Certified Diplomate and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist who specializes in Acute Traumatic Grief, addressing the deep-seated emotional symptoms resulting from abrupt and unexpected losses. With a commitment to helping individuals recognize and develop their inherent strengths, Mary empowers her clients to achieve a fulfilling purpose despite the challenges they face. Her extensive knowledge in addressing relationships, negative thought patterns, and lack of direction equips her to assist clients in overcoming barriers to their goals. As an Approved Clinical Supervisor accredited by the Center for Credentialing & Education, Mary provides Individual, Couples, and Family therapy to children, teens, and adults, in addition to supervising young professionals in building their Clinical Hours. Her qualifications include a completed year-long program at the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies (CMPS) and a certification in Life Coaching, underpinning her passion and dedication to facilitating client achievements. With over 10 years of direct and supervisory clinical practice, including experience in treating individuals with mental illness and substance abuse, Mary is well-equipped to manage complex cases. She is recognized for her involvement as a past Co-Chair of the Young Professional Mentoring Program at NYU and as a member of the Nominations Committee for the National Association for Social Work (NASW).
