Robin Semel

Robin Semel, Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPC, has dedicated almost twenty years to helping preteens, teens, and adults navigate the complexities of their emotions and relationships. Families often find themselves struggling with communication, especially when children are exhibiting challenging behaviors or experiencing transitional periods. They may feel overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, and that's where Robin's work becomes essential. With a wealth of clinical experience, Robin specializes in treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and mood disorders, tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. She utilizes psychodynamic, eclectic, psychoanalytic, and cognitive behavioral (CBT) therapy styles in her practice. Her warm and interactive style fosters understanding and encourages individuals to explore repetitive patterns that may be contributing to their current frustrations. Robin works collaboratively with families and individuals to uncover new ideas and solutions. In addition to her private practice, she has served as an administrator and clinical supervisor for over a decade in various agencies and residential facilities, working alongside schools and court personnel to support some of the most troubled adolescents and young adults.
