WIC, part of the Northwest New Jersey Community Action Partnership in Flemington, NJ, is dedicated to supporting the nutritional needs of pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children up to age five. Our services include providing supplemental nutritious foods, such as milk, eggs, fruits, and vegetables, along with essential health screenings and nutrition education. We also offer breastfeeding support, including access to lactation consultants, and referrals to additional health and social services. By addressing critical nutritional needs, WIC plays a vital role in preventing anemia and low birth weight while ensuring that children receive the essential nutrients necessary for healthy growth and development. Fathers are encouraged to bring their children to apply for WIC services as well, fostering a welcoming environment for all families.
