MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in East Orange, NJ, is dedicated to transforming the health and lives of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran at VA facilities receives an annual screening for obesity, followed by tailored recommendations for weight management. We offer a variety of practical care options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which supports Veterans in managing their weight in the comfort of their homes. Additionally, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides a self-guided approach for those who prefer independent weight management. For Veterans who require further assistance, our program also includes access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options. To join the MOVE! program, Veterans can reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider for personalized guidance and support.
