Ephraim Altman

Ephraim Altman, LCSW, is a compassionate Clinical Social Worker and therapist who recognizes the myriad of challenges and unique experiences each individual faces throughout life. He understands the super-human effort required to summon inner strength and realize true value, helping his clients live up to their unique potential. Ephraim specializes in identifying strategies that promote a healthy navigation through daily events, relationships, and responsibilities, key to achieving a successful and fulfilling life. He collaborates with clients on a journey of self-discovery, unraveling narratives surrounding their relationships, challenges, and behaviors. His areas of focus include relationship issues within couples and families, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and anger management. By employing supportive counseling, solution-focused techniques, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), he assists individuals in improving communication skills and developing helpful behaviors and thought processes. Ephraim earned his Masters of Social Work from Rutgers University and takes immense pleasure in spending time with his family and appreciating nature. Driven by a sense of adventure, he aspires to become an avid skydiver in the future, an aspiration he has yet to pursue.
