Nina Rifkind

Nina Rifkind is a Board Certified Clinical Social Worker and ADAA Clinical Fellow with 20 years of experience. She understands that taking the first step towards counseling can be challenging, and she provides a safe, comfortable environment that fosters open communication and trust, which are essential for achieving meaningful change. Whether individuals are dealing with anxiety, depression, or looking to improve their relationships, Nina offers an empathetic approach. Her techniques integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention, and Mindfulness, supplying clients with lasting tools to manage their everyday lives. Through her collaborative work, clients have the opportunity to thrive socially, academically, and professionally. Nina has acquired extensive training and experience treating adolescents and adults impacted by anxiety-based disorders, including panic disorder, social anxiety, phobias, OCD, Health Anxiety, Body Dysmorphia, Emetophobia, and Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs). Additionally, she recognizes the significance of childhood and adolescent struggles on self-esteem, focusing on enhancing communication with family, building peer relationships, and discovering practical strategies to boost confidence and maximize social and academic success.
