Mikolaya Nynka is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who understands the impact of life’s sudden shifts, guiding individuals and families through new anxieties and evolving relationships. With a focus on improving emotional health, she collaborates with clients facing mood disturbances, relationship concerns, and uncertainty about the future. Mikolaya uses a solution-focused approach, helping clients identify their strengths, manage obstacles, and develop effective coping strategies rooted in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and a Humanistic approach. She works with both adults and teens, particularly in navigating women’s issues, family planning, pregnancy, and parenting. Mikolaya’s extensive experience with college students and her passion for empowering individuals as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor enhance her dedication to building healthier communities. By actively participating in the therapy process with honesty, compassion, and directness, she fosters a safe space for clients to explore their past while focusing on positive changes for their future.
