Alyssa Keul

Alyssa Keul is a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes in a collaborative therapeutic approach where both the client and therapist actively engage in the session. She understands that every individual is the expert on themselves, while she brings her extensive knowledge in mental health, especially around eating disorders and body image issues. Alyssa is dedicated to helping her clients gain insight into their thinking patterns and behaviors that may lead to feelings of being stuck in their depression, anxiety, or eating disorders. Together with her clients, she creates new patterns of thought and behavior, empowering them to achieve their personalized therapeutic goals. Specializing in eating disorders and body image challenges, Alyssa has experience working in Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs for clients facing these issues. She also provides supportive therapy for families, equipping them with tools to best support their loved ones in their journey. Passionate about her work, Alyssa utilizes evidence-based treatments such as Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which she applies based on individual client needs. Her commitment is to facilitate progress in her clients’ lives while making the therapy process both meaningful and enjoyable.
