Gwen Susan Bloom

Gwen Susan Bloom is a seasoned Clinical Social Worker, having dedicated her career to healing and empowerment since 1985. With over 30 years of experience across diverse clinical settings, including public and private sectors, she specializes in working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her extensive background encompasses a variety of environments such as inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization, in-home, nursing home, and school settings. Trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gwen has notably implemented a DBT program at a therapeutic high school for teens. Currently, she focuses on her private practice, where she continues to specialize in DBT and traditional psychotherapy. Gwen is dedicated to supporting individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, addictive behaviors, personality disorders, PTSD, trauma, women's issues, and the complexities of adolescence. Her therapy modalities include couples counseling, individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy, aimed at fostering growth during life transitions and adjustments. She also offers psycho-educational services and is in the process of forming new psycho-educational and process groups to enhance community support.
