Emily Yang is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey and the owner of Play & Heal Therapy for Families. With a profound passion for utilizing play as a therapeutic tool, she helps children navigate past traumatic events and foster healthy attachments with their caregivers. Through her expertise in play therapy, Emily creates a safe space for children to express their emotions and embark on their healing journey. Additionally, she provides parent coaching through attachment-based therapy to assist children in overcoming behavioral challenges. Emily has a particular affinity for working with children and teens who are adapting to transitions related to adoption or the foster care system. Trained in Child Centered Play Therapy and a playful parenting intervention known as TBRI, she firmly believes that play serves as the language of children, facilitating their learning, healing, and growth.
