MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Bloomfield, NJ, is dedicated to transforming the health and lives of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission focuses on screening all Veterans in VA facilities for obesity, connecting them with personalized weight management services that cater to their individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of support options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows Veterans to receive in-home messaging and clinician contact as needed. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app provides valuable resources for managing weight independently. Additionally, we offer medical treatments such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges after engaging with the MOVE! program.
