Jacques Maitre is a highly qualified Clinical Social Worker and Therapist, holding an MSW and LCSW, with a wealth of experience since 1995. He is dedicated to working with teens, adults, and elders (65+) facing various challenges, including mood disorders, developmental disorders, and those in need of life coaching. Jacques has extensive experience supporting families coping with disability, loss, behavioral challenges, and improving interpersonal communication. After relocating to the East Coast, he has focused on assisting individuals managing chronic stress, illness, as well as economic and social challenges. He fosters a warm and supportive environment for clients seeking healing and personal growth. In 2023, he became a certified Therapeutic Game Master, adding a unique dimension to his therapeutic practice. Jacques adopts an ecological, or person-in-environment, perspective, emphasizing solution-oriented and strengths-based interventions.
