Located in Blackwood, NJ, the Social Services Programs are dedicated to empowering individuals and families in need through essential support services. We offer a comprehensive range of programs designed for those eligible for Temporary Assistance to Needy Families and Supplemental Security Income, as well as low-income individuals. Our Adult Social Services unit assesses applications and ongoing cases for elderly, blind, or disabled adults, connecting them with necessary services such as homemaker assistance and medical transportation. Our dedicated Adult Protective Services team investigates any allegations of abuse or neglect, ensuring the safety of vulnerable individuals in our community without regard to income. For urgent needs, our Emergency Assistance Program provides evaluation and resources like shelter and emergency food support. We also prioritize the health of children through our Early Periodic Screening Diagnosis and Treatment Program, ensuring Medicaid-eligible children receive yearly medical check-ups.
