Jason Berenberg

Jason Berenberg is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) who believes in the inherent ability of individuals to heal and grow. As a psychotherapist, he focuses on helping clients remove barriers to achieve their fullest potential. Jason aims not only to alleviate symptoms and emotional pain but also to accompany clients on a journey towards long-term individual change. Many clients may feel stuck and perceive change as daunting; however, he is dedicated to creating a safe and inviting environment through his sense of humor, compassion, and encouragement. His eclectic therapeutic approach incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), existential thought, relational elements, and solution-focused strategies. Jason prioritizes developing warm, trustworthy, and honest relationships with his clients, which he considers vital for facilitating positive change. With extensive experience working with adults and teenagers, he addresses a wide range of issues, including depression, relationship difficulties, anxiety, grief, and co-occurring emotional and substance use challenges. Jason views it as a privilege to work collaboratively with clients toward their personal goals.
