Tracy Hood

Tracy Hood is a dedicated clinical social worker and therapist, holding an MSW and LCSW. She believes that clients enter therapy equipped with the inherent skills necessary to confront their challenges. Yet, she also recognizes that navigating difficult situations can often benefit from the guidance of a trained professional. Tracy's mission is to help her clients uncover their inner strengths and enhance their coping skills. She collaborates with clients to establish treatment goals, utilizing evidence-based treatment strategies to achieve success. Tracy possesses a certificate in Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation from the University of Maryland and is a certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) therapist, having completed post-graduate training at Auburn University. Furthermore, her post-graduate education in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy equips her to effectively assist a wide range of clients. Although she has a special focus on Early Childhood Mental Health, her extensive experience allows her to work successfully with individuals from ages 2 to 100, demonstrating her adaptability and expertise in the field.
