The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Wilmington, NC, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of leaders who advocate for a food system that is equitable, sustainable, and resilient. Through comprehensive training and real-world experience, our Fellows engage in organic food system education, hands-on farming, and community initiatives. This tuition-free program promotes accessibility and empowers participants to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement health education, and enhance food literacy in schools and communities. Over six months, selected Fellows reside at AMI’s Allegheny Farm, followed by a Community Action Year where they collaborate with regional nonprofits to drive change. We invite passionate individuals to join us in transforming the food landscape, fostering healthier communities, and mentoring future advocates for food justice.
