The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Whiteville, NC, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through comprehensive, free resources aimed at effective diabetes management over a 12-month period. Participants receive valuable educational materials, including six informative e-booklets tailored to their unique needs, and monthly e-newsletters filled with seasonal tips and local community event information, available in both English and Spanish. Enrollees who provide their phone numbers are invited to our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A sessions, where they can engage with diabetes specialists, learn about the important connection between diabetes and heart health, and access helpful giveaways designed to empower them in their journey to better health.
