Family Support

Located in Whiteville, NC, Family Support is dedicated to compassionately assisting individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome, their families, and care providers through a range of essential services. Our Family Support team stands ready to provide reliable information and emotional support right at the moment of diagnosis. We offer personalized parent mentoring, nutritional education, meal planning guidance, and behavior management strategies tailored to meet individual needs. Additionally, we empower families by guiding them through the application and appeal processes for Medicaid, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). We invite families to connect with our local chapter or join our supportive community through our Facebook groups to ensure they have the resources they need during this challenging journey.
