Dorie Allen is a dedicated Psychological Associate with over 20 years of experience in providing comprehensive psychological evaluations for children and adults, ages 3 and up. Specializing in assessing learning difficulties, attention disorders, and a range of mental health conditions, she has honed her skills through extensive work in public school systems and private practice. Dorie earned her master's degree in Clinical/Community Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and has been licensed as a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) since 1996. Primarily working with children and adolescents facing behavioral, emotional, and learning challenges, she also conducts adult evaluations for ADHD, anxiety, and depression. In addition to her assessment services, Dorie offers consultation for families navigating the IEP process, helping them identify areas of concern and develop concrete strategies for improvement in home, school, and community settings. Dorie’s goal is to help clients and their families achieve clarity through clinical and diagnostic assessments, empowering them to address their unique challenges effectively.
