Megan Russ is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. A board-certified counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors, Megan earned her Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services, both from Montreat College, along with an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. With a wealth of experience in addressing challenges such as PTSD, ODD, DMDD, grief and loss, anger, trauma, addiction, anxiety, abuse, and depression, Megan collaborates with her clients to craft personalized goals and strategies. Her diverse background includes working in hospital psychiatric units, day treatment, intensive in-home therapy, domestic violence shelters, children's homes, substance abuse treatment centers, and outpatient therapy. By integrating Biblical principles into her sessions, Megan adds a unique dimension to her counseling approach, guiding individuals on their personal paths toward improved mental health. She believes in the importance of companionship on the journey of life, assuring her clients that they need not walk their path alone—Megan will be there to support them every step of the way.
