The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Roxboro, NC, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to become advocates for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. This transformative fellowship offers unique opportunities for participants to engage in organic food system education, work on sustainable farms, and implement community-based projects that promote access to healthy foods. Fellows will grow and distribute diverse crops, lead educational programs focusing on health and ecological literacy, maintain community and school gardens, and support local farmers markets. With a commitment to making education accessible, AMI ensures there is no tuition for fellowship participants. Over a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year, our fellows gain hands-on experience and collaborate with regional nonprofits to make a meaningful impact in their communities. Applications are welcome until March, with the fellowship experience running from May to October each year.
