The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Morganton, NC, is dedicated to empowering individuals to advocate for a just, sustainable, and thriving food system. By offering a no-cost, comprehensive training program, we equip Fellows with organic food system education and practical skills needed to make a meaningful impact. Our program includes hands-on experiences in growing and distributing diverse crops, leading health education initiatives, maintaining community gardens, and integrating food and ecological literacy in educational settings. Throughout their journey, selected Fellows will engage in a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profit organizations to enhance food accessibility and promote healthy eating. Applications are accepted until March, with the program running from May to October, fostering a network of passionate advocates committed to transformative food initiatives.
