MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Laurinburg, NC, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and connected to tailored weight management solutions that align with their individual needs and preferences. MOVE! offers a variety of support options, including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative TeleMOVE! services that facilitate in-home guidance. Veterans can also benefit from the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management, as well as access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who require additional support. To join the MOVE! program, Veterans are encouraged to speak with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to embark on their journey towards better health.
