Located in Hickory, NC, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring they have access to comprehensive support and treatment options that honor their individual preferences. MOVE! offers various care pathways, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support, as well as the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer a self-directed approach to weight loss. For Veterans who continue to face challenges after utilizing MOVE! resources, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery, adapting our services to meet the unique needs of every participant.
