Johannah Robinette is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (MA/EdS, LCMHC, NCC) based in Iredell County, where she proudly serves individuals within the community and surrounding areas. With a wealth of experience working with diverse groups including children, teens, adults, and couples, Johannah has a particular fondness for guiding teens in alternative school settings. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of challenges such as depression, anxiety, domestic violence issues, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, low self-esteem, and parenting difficulties. Johannah has a unique understanding of the developmental disabilities (DD) community, shaped by her personal journey as a mother of a daughter born with Spina bifida. She believes in a holistic approach to therapy, integrating Christian principles with psychological methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Nature-Based Therapy to address the emotional, mental, and spiritual dimensions of well-being. Outside of her practice, she enjoys singing, reading, and engaging in church activities. With 37 years of marriage and two adult children, Johannah also volunteers her time facilitating a support group for women in a local prison ministry. She is an active member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the American Counseling Association, committed to lifelong learning and growth in the field of mental health.
