The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Greenville, NC is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Our program empowers selected Fellows through comprehensive, hands-on training focused on organic food system education, ensuring accessibility by eliminating tuition fees. Over a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus in Highland County, VA, Fellows engage in diverse activities including growing and distributing crops, implementing educational initiatives for innovative health care, and developing community gardens. Throughout their journey, they also support farmers markets, enhance food literacy in schools, and bolster efforts to increase access to healthy foods for all. Following this transformative fellowship, participants embark on a Community Action Year, partnering with non-profit organizations to apply their knowledge and skills.
