April Clark is a dedicated clinical social worker and therapist who believes in the essential nature of emotional wellbeing as a guiding force towards a fulfilling life. Her philosophy centers on meeting clients where they are and guiding them towards their desired goals. April invests significant time in developing strong, supportive relationships with her clients, assisting them in acquiring effective coping skills to manage life's stressors. Passionate about helping people of all ages realize their potential, April has a rich background as a family social worker for foster and adoptive parents from 2001 to 2008. Since then, she has offered therapy to a diverse range of individuals, including adults grappling with schizophrenia, substance abuse, mood disorders, and children facing severe behavioral, emotional, and trauma-related challenges. Currently, April focuses on providing individual therapy to adolescents and adults, offering teletherapy to support clients in managing emotions linked to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as issues related to anxiety, depression, and grief/loss. Additionally, she is available to provide supervision to LCSW-A professionals.
