Dr. Susan B. Wilkie (PhD, LPC, LMFT, NCC, NCSC) serves as a Professor and Founding Director of the Marriage & Family Therapy Program at Pfeiffer University's Graduate School in Charlotte. With a profound dedication to mental health, she is a highly experienced licensed professional counselor and marriage and family therapist, who runs a private practice. Dr. Wilkie earned her undergraduate degree in Education from the University of Maryland, followed by a master's degree in Educational Administration & Supervision from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She concluded her academic journey with a doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of New Orleans in 1994. As an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and LPC Supervisor, Dr. Wilkie brings substantial expertise to her practice. She specializes in women’s issues, grief and loss, relationship therapy, couple conflicts, adult development and aging, pre-marital, remarital, and marriage counseling, divorce mediation, and infidelity.
