The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Concord, NC, offers a transformative opportunity for aspiring educators and advocates dedicated to creating a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Through comprehensive organic food system education, we equip our Fellows with the skills needed to drive positive change in their communities. Our immersive six-month program at the Allegheny Farm Campus allows participants to engage in hands-on experiences such as growing and distributing diversified crops, maintaining community gardens, and leading educational sessions that promote food and ecological literacy. Throughout their journey, Fellows collaborate with local non-profits to enhance food access, support farmers markets, and foster community food initiatives. We believe in accessibility, which is why we do not charge tuition for the Fellowship, making it easier for dedicated individuals to join us in our mission. Applications are accepted until March each year, with experiences taking place from May to October.
