Laura Barnes is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC, NCC, BCB) who passionately advocates for the fundamental rights of all individuals. She firmly believes in the principles that black lives matter, love is love, science is real, and that women's rights are human rights. Laura views mental health care as a human right and emphasizes that every individual deserves love, support, and healing. She understands that wellness encompasses various elements, including mental clarity, and values the opportunity to participate in the therapeutic journeys of others. Laura provides a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive therapeutic environment, utilizing her extensive training in EMDR, biofeedback, and psychotherapy to support children, teens, and adults. Her area of expertise includes trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD, anxiety, and general life stress and changes.
