Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Sainte Genevieve, MO, empowers individuals to become passionate advocates for a just and sustainable food system. This program offers comprehensive training in organic farming and food education without charging tuition, ensuring accessibility for all aspiring Fellows. Participants engage in hands-on experiences at Allegheny Farm, where they learn to cultivate diverse crops, implement innovative health programs, and promote food literacy in schools and communities. They also support local farmers markets and develop distribution channels to enhance access to healthy foods. With a focus on creating sustainable communities, selected Fellows embark on a transformative six-month residency, followed by a year of impactful community action in partnership with regional non-profits. Applications for this dynamic fellowship are open until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
