Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Rogersville, MO US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Rogersville, MO, empowers individuals to become advocates for a food system that is just, sustainable, and community-driven. Through hands-on training at the Allegheny Farm, selected Fellows engage in a six-month experiential learning program focused on organic food system education and practical applications. Participants will have the opportunity to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health education, maintain community and school gardens, and integrate food and ecological literacy into local activities. This fellowship aims to increase access to healthy foods by supporting farmers markets, community food coalitions, and creating distribution channels designed to benefit underserved populations. With no tuition fees, the program prioritizes accessibility and inclusivity, culminating in a Community Action Year where Fellows partner with regional non-profits to put their training into action. Applications are accepted until March for a transformative experience from May to October.
