The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Pacific, MO is dedicated to cultivating a diverse and equitable food system through education and advocacy. Our program empowers passionate individuals to become knowledgeable leaders in organic food practices and community engagement. Over a six-month residency at Allegheny Farm, selected Fellows receive hands-on training that prepares them to implement sustainable farming techniques, manage community gardens, and conduct health-focused educational sessions. Participants also design and enhance distribution networks to increase access to healthy food options in their regions. We emphasize collaboration with local non-profits during a Community Action Year, fostering meaningful connections and impactful projects that promote food justice and ecological literacy. We are committed to accessibility, offering this invaluable opportunity without tuition fees. Applications are due by March each year, with the fellowship experience running from May to October.
