Family Support

Based in Pacific, MO, the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) is dedicated to offering crucial support to individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome along with their families and care providers. The Family Support team is here to provide accurate information and comprehensive assistance right from the moment of diagnosis. Our services include vital parent mentoring, nutritional education, meal planning, and behavior management support, ensuring families have the resources they need. Additionally, we guide families through the application and appeal processes for Medicaid, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
