The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in O'Fallon, MO, is dedicated to empowering individuals to become advocates for a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. This innovative program offers a tuition-free, six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus in Highland County, VA, where selected Fellows gain hands-on training in organic food systems education. Participants learn to grow and distribute diverse crops, create and implement community gardens, and promote food and ecological literacy in schools. The Fellowship extends into a Community Action Year, allowing Fellows to collaborate with regional non-profits to increase access to healthy foods, support farmers' markets, and mentor future cohorts. We invite passionate individuals to join us in creating impactful solutions for our local food system, with applications due by March each year.
