The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Nixa, MO, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of leaders committed to creating a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. By providing a comprehensive, tuition-free program, we empower Fellows with hands-on organic food system education and practical experience at our agricultural campus. Over the course of six months, selected participants will engage in a residential learning experience, followed by a Community Action Year where they will collaborate with regional non-profits to implement sustainable practices. Our initiatives include growing and distributing diverse crops, running educational workshops on health and ecological literacy, supporting farmers markets, and enhancing access to healthy foods through innovative distribution channels. We believe in fostering community connections, nurturing gardens, and mentoring future advocates, ensuring that everyone can contribute to a resilient and equitable food system. Applications for this transformative opportunity are due by March each year, with the program running from May to October.
