Alyson Harder

Alyson Harder embraces and encourages whole-hearted living in her practice. She believes in the inherent power each individual possesses to heal and to lead a balanced life. With her clients, Alyson takes an empathetic approach, focusing on their unique stories and fostering their personal journeys. Rather than positioning herself as a fixer, she sees herself as a supportive character who provides insight, guidance, and occasional challenges. Her aim is to cultivate an authentic and genuine relationship with each client, feeling honored to be invited into their lives and passionate about the therapy process. With a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Kansas and extensive experience in the field since 2005, Alyson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and is in the process of becoming a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) in Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas. She holds certifications in EMDR and is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) through Behavioral Tech, also offering Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Life Coaching. Alyson envisions a world where individuals seek therapy proactively, finding a supportive guide in her as they explore their internal strengths and courage, ultimately leading to lives that are meaningful, genuine, and enjoyable. It is often in the moments of discomfort that clients discover their true selves and pathways to growth.
