The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Neosho, MO, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders committed to a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Through an immersive six-month experiential program at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows receive comprehensive organic food system education, empowering them to become advocates for sustainable practices in their communities. Our Fellowship promotes inclusivity by offering tuition-free training, allowing participants to engage deeply in hands-on learning experiences. Throughout their journey, Fellows collaborate with local partners on diverse projects such as growing and distributing crops, implementing health-focused educational initiatives, maintaining community gardens, and enhancing food literacy within schools. The program extends into a Community Action Year, where graduates apply their skills alongside regional non-profit organizations. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March each year for this enriching opportunity that runs from May to October, contributing to a healthier and more just food landscape.
