Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Moberly, MO, is dedicated to fostering leaders who advocate for a sustainable food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. This transformative fellowship offers hands-on training and education in organic food systems, empowering Fellows to take action in their communities. Participants engage actively in initiatives such as cultivating diversified crops on market-style farms, leading innovative health education programs, maintaining school and community gardens, and enhancing food and ecological literacy in educational settings. By supporting farmers markets and improving distribution channels, the Fellowship creates pathways to increased access to healthy foods for all. After an immersive six-month training at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to implement their learning. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience running from May to October.
