Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Maryville, MO, dedicates itself to cultivating the next generation of advocates for a food system that emphasizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Offering a transformative, tuition-free program, this Fellowship empowers participants through comprehensive organic food system education designed to increase their impact in the community. Fellows engage in hands-on experiences, including growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing innovative health care education, and maintaining community gardens. They also work to enhance food and ecological literacy in schools, support farmers markets, and develop strategies to improve access to nutritious foods. Each selected Fellow embarks on a six-month immersive training at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they collaborate with local nonprofit organizations to effect meaningful change.
