Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Marshfield, MO, is dedicated to empowering aspiring advocates for a just food system through comprehensive training and hands-on experience. This fellowship offers tuition-free organic food system education that focuses on social, environmental, and economic justice. Selected Fellows engage in a six-month immersive residential program at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they learn to cultivate diverse crops in partnership with market-style farms, implement innovative educational sessions in healthcare, and develop community and school gardens. They play a crucial role in enhancing food access by supporting farmers markets, mentoring new fellows, and integrating food and ecological literacy into local schools. Following their training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to apply their skills in real-world settings.
