At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Marshall, MO, we are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates and educators committed to creating a fair and sustainable food system. Our program provides comprehensive training in organic food production and community engagement, allowing selected Fellows to actively participate in hands-on learning experiences at our facilities. Through collaborative projects, our Fellows grow and distribute diversified crops, implement educational health programs, support local farmers' markets, and enhance food literacy in schools. We believe in accessibility and inclusivity—therefore, we offer this fellowship without tuition fees. Over a six-month immersive experience followed by a Community Action Year, Fellows gain invaluable skills and knowledge, empowering them to make a real impact in their communities by addressing food insecurity and promoting healthier dietary choices. Applications are accepted until March each year for the Fellowship that runs from May to October.
