MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Liberty, MO, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and provided with diverse options tailored to their individual needs. We offer a variety of services, including supportive group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for convenient in-home messaging and clinician interactions. For those who prefer a self-guided approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is an excellent resource. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have faced ongoing challenges despite participating in MOVE!.
