The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Liberty, MO, is dedicated to cultivating a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system through hands-on education and advocacy. By providing a tuition-free training opportunity, we empower Fellows to become leaders in sustainable agriculture while actively engaging with community needs. Our program equips participants with knowledge in organic farming practices and offers practical experience in diverse areas such as crop production, community garden maintenance, and innovative health care educational sessions. Over the course of six months at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows gain invaluable skills before embarking on a Community Action Year, where they collaborate with local nonprofit organizations to enhance food access and promote ecological literacy. With a firm commitment to supporting local food initiatives and a vision for a healthier, more equitable food landscape, we invite passionate individuals to apply by March each year for an enriching experience running from May to October.
