Stacie Henson

Stacie Henson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a passion for guiding children, teens, and families through the complexities of behavioral and mental health challenges. With a Master’s degree in Counseling from Missouri Baptist University, earned in 2014, Stacie understands the emotional roller coaster of raising children and the impact of mental health concerns on the entire family system. She approaches therapy through a compassionate lens, recognizing that behavior is a form of communication for children and teens. With her expertise, she strives to help families connect and address underlying feelings, thoughts, and needs. Utilizing play therapy techniques, which she is currently expanding upon as she works towards her Registered Play Therapist certification, Stacie effectively engages children and teens in therapy, helping them express themselves through play, the language of childhood. For older children and adults, she employs more traditional talk therapy methods, tailoring her modalities to meet individual needs.
