MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans in Kirksville, MO, by providing comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receives an annual obesity screening at VA facilities and has access to tailored weight management options that reflect their individual needs and preferences. Participants can choose from various care strategies, including engaging group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for at-home guidance. For those who prefer self-guided approaches, our MOVE! Coach mobile app supports independent weight management. Additionally, we offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery to Veterans facing ongoing challenges with overweight or weight-related issues.
